Industrial businesses buy or lease the storage system; the leasing rate is typically below the monthly savings. For open-land projects, Scale Energy invests itself and pays a long-term lease.
Does Scale Energy operate the storage systems itself?

Yes. We handle 24/7 monitoring, maintenance and power-market trading across the entire project lifetime. The operating risk is ours.
